To the editor:

More than advice from Ariane Tabatarai about "How to Ensure the Iran Nuclear Deal Survives the Next President," we need advice about how to ensure the next president, and the world, survives the Iran nuclear deal.

After Iran got its estimated $150 billion signing bonus, and then another $1.7 billion "non-ransom" quid pro quo for releasing four American hostages, the news I read today about Iranian officials, including its "moderate" President Rouhani, anticipating billions more for the release of additional American hostages held by the Islamic Republic does not make me optimistic.

Our next president, whomever he or she may be, will certainly need God's - or perhaps Allah's - help.

Sincerely,

Alan Stein
