Omitted from Rick Gladstone's article, "Historical Certainty Proves Elusive at Jerusalem's Holiest Place," besides the fact that certainty is only elusive for him and others intent on denying something about which all knowledgeable experts agree, is that if the Dome of the Rock wasn't built on the exact location of Solomon's Temple, then it was built on the wrong spot and lose its sacred aspect for Muslims.
