Dear Editor:

I appreciate Isabel Kershner's article, "An Israeli Wonderland Where You Can Almost Forget Where You Are," despite her obvious efforts to politicize and inject anti-Israel propaganda into a description of that "Israeli wonderland" in the Jerusalem suburb of Maale Adumim.

As she reluctantly reports, it's a place where Arabs and Israelis work together and play together. It's the type of endeavor that can break down the barriers preventing peace. May it be joined by many other similar worthwhile endeavors.

I'm also personally grateful. A few weeks ago I was in that area, visiting the Good Samaritan Museum, with a beautiful vista including nearby Maale Adumim, unaware of the existence of Park Israel. I look forward to a future visit to what sounds like a terrific attraction for everyone.

Sincerely,

Alan Stein
