Rolled Cookie Dough

My mother used to make this to bring to the last UFT dance class of the season. After she passed away, my father surprised us all by making them himself. His weren't quite as beautiful as hers, but they tasted just as delicious.

Ingredients

2 eggs
salt
½ cup crisco
½ cup sugar
2½ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ glass with orange juice or lemon juice
crushed wallnuts

Cream crisco with sugar and eggs. Add salt. Add juice. Add flour. Mix into a ball. Refrigerate.
Roll out and sprinkle with cinnamon, raisins, jelly and nuts.
Bake ½ hour at 375°.
