To the editor:
I had to laugh when I read the emir of Qatar write, in "Qatar’s Message to Obama," "But as bad as the situation is now, it will almost certainly deteriorate further if the peace-loving nations of the world don’t act quickly to rein in the forces of instability and violence."
Hopefully, President Obama will take the emir's advice and act quickly to rein in those forces, starting with Qatar ... and Iran.
