To the editor:

Michael Sfard is correct that "Israel's human rights activists aren't traitors."

On the other hand, Israel has organizations such as Breaking the Silence, Yesh Din and B'Tselem which are made up of traitors posing as human rights activists.

Israel has no problem with the former; the latter, deriving significant funding from foreign governments. harm not only Israel but legitimate human rights organizations and, most of all, people around the world whose human rights have been violated but whose suffering is being ignored because of the world's sick obsession with the one nation in the Middle East that actually protects human rights, Israel.

Sincerely,

Alan Stein

The Comedian: United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
