To the editor:

Theoretically, Michelle Goldberg is correct that anti-Zionism isn't the same as anti-Semitism and it's possible to oppose Zionism without being a bigot. This is possible if one is a post-nationalist and opposes all nationalisms.

In practice, however, almost all anti-Zionists oppose the national liberation movement of the Jewish people but support it for other peoples. That makes them anti-Semites. Personally, I've yet to meet an anti-Zionist who wasn't an anti-Semite.
