Dear Editor:

There is no shortage of distortions to criticize in the article "How Growing Up in New York After 9/11 Shaped These Muslim Leaders" (September 10), but it was worth reading the article just to burst out laughing at the statement that Linda Sarsour "and two other leaders of the Women’s March stepped down from the organization amid complaints that the New York-based coalition was too insular."

They stepped down because enough people, unlike The New York Times, stopped ignoring and even enabling their blatant antisemitism.

Speaking to a reporter at the United Nations headquarters, Ban Ki-moon, apparently with a straight face, said: "I don't think there is discrimination against Israel at the United Nations."
